Upon arrival, pick up an event guide/map at one of our information stations. Take the Red Line train (toward Glenmont); transfer at the Fort Totten station to the Green Line train (toward Greenbelt); get off at the College Park/U of MD station. Or take the Green Line train (toward Greenbelt); get off at the College Park/UM station. The university's Shuttle-UM buses pick up university-bound passengers on the East side of the station.

By Bicycle

Since Maryland Day is held on a Saturday, cyclists are welcome to bring their bicycles on the metro at all times of the day. In addition, all of our shuttle buses (including the College Park Metro shuttle bus) are outfitted with two bicycle carriers.

College Park is also conveniently connected to various other neighborhoods within the Anacostia Tributary Trail System, a map of which can be found here (pdf). You can also route your cycling path with Google Map's new bicycling route option.

Once you get to Maryland Day, look for one of our bicycle valet tents near Terp Town Center, Ag Day Avenue, and Arts Alley. The UMD Department of Transportation Services will be providing free and safe bicycling parking all day on Maryland Day as well as cycling giveaways, cycling maps and information
