The 20th annual FAMILY-FRIENDLY event will be one to remember, with fun and exciting DEMONSTRATIONS, EXHIBITIONS, PERFORMANCES and more. Come join the celebration, and explore our world of fearless ideas!

Directions & Parking

Parking is free.

Follow directional signs and traffic attendants to event parking areas. Upon arrival, pick up an event guide/map at one of our information stations (see map).


Please do not park in fire lanes.


Disabled parking areas are reserved for vehicles displaying state-issued disabled permits.

Getting Around


You can cover more ground if you use Shuttle-UM, which will run continuously all day  free of charge. Click here to see our map and bus stop locations.


Bring Your Bike

Once you get to Maryland Day, look for one of our bicycle valet tents near Terp Town Center, Ag Day Avenue and Art & Design Place. The UMD Department of Transportation Services will  provide free and safe bicycle parking all day on Maryland Day as well as cycling giveaways, cycling maps and information.
