About Maryland Day
Established in 1999, Maryland Day is the University of Maryland’s largest community outreach event. The campus-wide celebration includes over 400 free activities, performances and demonstrations that showcase the arts, sports, student and faculty research, UMD’s agricultural roots and much more.
Whether you’re a current student or prospective student, faculty or staff member, graduate, fan, or member of the surrounding community, Maryland Day has something for everyone.

AG DAY AVENUE
Explore what makes Maryland farming and wildlife unique. Help plant a green wall or take home a seedling of your own. Enjoy a free sample of ice cream from the Maryland Dairy and learn how you could hatch a career in agriculture. Don’t miss the horse show and riding demonstrations at the Campus Farm.
